Khan Farouk Tarab Café or rather famously known as Khan Farouk is a fine dining restaurant in Doha managed under the wings of Adara Group.

The essence of the name Khan Farouk is that it combines the word ‘khan’ that reflects the unforgettable Egyptian souk of yesteryears “Khan El Khalili” with the name of the King who ruled Egypt in 1950s called King Farouk.

Located right in the heart of Katara, a landmark cultural village in Qatar, Khan Farouk fashioned its concept inspired by the Golden Age Era of Egypt’s capital, Cairo, which ushered the region to the rise of modernity, cinema, music and art.

Every detail of the ‘memorable old Cairo’ is etched in Khan Farouk which can be witnessed and relived through its authentic decorations in the outdoor and indoor spaces.

From the illustrations of the famous Egyptian personalities on the walls to the enthralling décors and the daily evening traditional entertainment programs presented by Khan Farouk’s  Tarab band, offering an experience of time travel to Cairo’s mesmerizing golden age.
